The Birth of the Men’s Slippers (The cool kind)
The birth of the classic dress slipper, told by Repertoire:
It was a warm sunny spring day at the campus of Emory University where two gentlemen wanted to make a statement. They wanted to be remember not only for their scholastic achievements, but also for their dapper style!
Hence the birth of the classic slipper!
Ok, we will cut the bullsh*t! We owe credit to the guys over at Urban Gentlemen for breaking down the necessity of a good stylish slipper. Take a look at some pics below to see what we mean.

They FFFFOUND! : Sebago
The website FFFFOUND.com (that's right they spell it with 4 F's) it wickedly smart. Everytime I got back it is always popping up photos that I like specifically "found" for me by their search engine.
This is what popped up when I last checked. It is pretty funny considering Repertoire will be carrying these in the Spring! NICE

So in my little short story version this how I imagined the folks from Gitman Vintage and SeaVees connected to make, (what I think to be) the most sought after shoe next Spring...

Hellooooooooooo...in the voice of my man Ssagala! I want to put this out there because in our quest to find new brands that are innovative and lifestyle appropriate we stumbled upon quite a debate at Repertoire.
What shoes to rock when you're riding the fixie? Whether you're just going on a ride with the fellas or [ladies]...or you're heading out for a night on the town...how do you with a classy shoe game?

Shoe Decisions: Volta Footwear
The decision has yet to be made, however these guys out of Italy from Volta Footwear are making their presence known in the States with their ever-so soft Italian leather, hand made shoes. They are like a cross between a dope pair of walla-bees (which I know they will hate me for saying that...) and a pair of Common Projects.
Our debate at Repertoire is how do you approach this shoe? Is it dress-casual? Is it casual? Or is it just a bust. We asked around and got mixed reviews. Let us know and post your comments!
